At Central Baptist Church, our beliefs aren’t just words on a page—they are the heartbeat of our daily walk with God. Each practice is an expression of our love, obedience, and devotion to the Lord.
The Bible: Our Sole Authority
We embrace the Bible as the living, breathing Word of God—a lamp to our feet and a guide for our lives. Its teachings shape us, convict us, and equip us to live in alignment with God’s will. We commit to:
- Daily Bible Reading: Drawing strength and wisdom from God’s Word.
- Bible Study: Delving deeper into Scripture to uncover His truths.
- Bible Memorization: Hiding His Word in our hearts for every season of life.
Tithing and Offering: Honoring God with Our Gifts
We believe that giving is an act of worship—an outward expression of our trust in God’s provision. Tithing, giving 10% of what God blesses us with, is a holy standard set by the Lord.
"Every tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the trees, is the Lord's; it is holy to the Lord" (Leviticus 27:30, ESV)
But it doesn’t stop there. Offerings above and beyond the tithe reflect our gratitude and love for the work of His Kingdom.
"Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In your tithes and contributions." (Malachi 3:8, ESV)

Spirit-Led Living: Empowered by His Presence
We are called to lean on God’s Spirit daily, allowing Him to guide our steps and empower our actions. Living in the Spirit ensures that our lives bear fruit and bring glory to His name.

Our faith compels us to share the Good News of Jesus with others. By living as His witnesses, we invite friends, neighbors, and even strangers to experience the transformative power of His love.
